Institute of Family Enterprises (IEF)

The EGADE Business School has created the (IEF) (Institute of Family Enterprises), in order to contribute to the economic development of Mexico and Latin America by offering executive education programs for Family Business Executives, to share our research experience, talent, and knowledge of this area with the business and entrepreneurial community.

  • To provide an integral perspective of the family business as the platform that generates new entrepreneurial initiatives through a solid foundation of business management, as well as specific management tools with a global vision that support the sustained development of family businesses.
  • To become the leading Institute dedicated to the area of Family Businesses in Mexico and Latin America by supporting growth and strengthening the competitiveness of these companies, as well as the creation of a socially responsible business culture that is financially healthy and internationally competitive.


To achieve our goals, we offer a variety of high-quality executive education programs designed to provide the participants with the combined experience of well-known specialists, entrepreneurs, and members of our faculty, as well as the professionalism, commitment, and prestige of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and the EGADE Business School.

Teaching-Learning Methods
