Orla Branigan is Director of Marketing and Planning at the EGADE Business School, the leading graduate school of business of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, with locations in Mexico City and Monterrey. She has over twenty years of senior level marketing and management experience working with leading brand companies and organizations in the U. S., Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, the Middle East and Latin America.
In 1995, Orla was appointed European Marketing Director for the Irish Tourism Board, the government agency responsible for the development and marketing of the Ireland tourism brand worldwide. In 1998 she joined Ireland’s hi-tech revolution as Vice President at start up financial software company, Flexicom, building a small, locally known B2B software brand into the market leading solution for multicurrency card processing, in the global financial services sector. In 2001 she moved to a start-up marketing communications company in Dublin, Gallagher & Kelly, (now Financial Dynamics (FD International) and as Director of Business Development worked across the FD network to develop new global client relationships. Key global communications accounts which she had worked with include Microsoft EMEA, Coca-Cola HBC, Vodafone Europe, Dell EMEA, Merrill Lynch, xerox, the Kingdom of Jordan Tourism Ministry, Jamaican Tourism Board, Tourism Ireland and the London Stock Exchange.
She has participated in many international conferences as a keynote speaker and contributor on marketing and brand management strategies and trends. Orla has received several business entrepreneurial and marketing awards in Ireland and served on the board of a number of leading business organizations in Ireland. She a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee of Fundación del Empresariado en México, AC (Fundemex), a not-for-profit organization of the CCE dedicated to the social and economic advancement of Mexico´s poorest communities.
