Dr. Gonzalez is a recognized leader in the development and implementation of programs linking business strategy and operations to improved profitability and competitiveness, particularly through the strategic management and price optimization approaches the utility company.

As executive professor, Dr. González has applied his executive and consulting experience to the development of courses and programs that link the commercial and operations strategy of companies towards with enhanced profitability and competitiveness, particularly through the strategic management of pricing and profitability optimization. Dr. González is currently an international consultant in this area.

In the Summer of 2005, he designed and started the course "Price Strategy and Profitability", and to date he has given the course over 30 times in EGADE Business School, Monterrey and in postgraduate programs at other ITESM campuses, including at Estado de México, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí as well as in ITESM international sites in Ecuador and Peru.

Dr. González has been member of the Administrative Board of various companies, such as Sanitarios Orión (Ceramics), Duraplay de Parral (Forestry), Industrias Reliance (Engineering /Electrical) Televisión del DF – Hitachi (Electronics), as well as various educational institutions.

He is member of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF) and Full Academic Member of the Mexican Academy of Engineering.
